THE GOAL FOR THIS PROJECT
Continued experimentation with lighting. This is my personal fly fishing rig and the reel has an interesting mix of color and texture. I was curious how it would look with diffused light through a skrim, so I shot it.
WHAT WAS CREATED
Just a few images to test various lighting postions to get the gradation of light off the reel surface to fall away toward the surface. I sprayed some water on the rig as well to simulate motion as if we were fighting a fish on the water. The dark almost gooey texture of the water with the diffused light was something I wanted to test as well. Couldn’t be happier.
